Sam Rosenberg

Chief Financial Officer

Sam Rosenberg joined Fisher Brothers in 1986 and since then has been involved in virtually every aspect of the business. He works closely with the firm’s partners on all aspects of accounting and finance, while also collaborating with Winston Fisher in implementing the firm’s long-term investment and wealth management programs. As both an advisor and a hands-on executive, Mr. Rosenberg formulates investment guidelines and strategies, adhering to a rigorously conservative approach focused on value creation and risk mitigation.

In the process, he is heavily involved in a broad spectrum of activities that include risk management, deal-by-deal structuring and projections, initiating new ideas, cash management, exploring alternative investments and closing transactions. In these varied capacities, he has worked on development, acquisition and disposition of major office, condominium, retail and hotel projects, and has helped to arrange well over $1.9 billion of financing.

Mr. Rosenberg also served as treasurer of Chartwell Leisure, a public hotel company controlled by Fisher Brothers, from 1995 to 1997. Prior to joining Fisher Brothers, he worked for seven years at David Berdon & Co., a midsize public accounting firm. Mr. Rosenberg is chairman of Trip of a Lifetime, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides funding for underprivileged students to experience summer travel.
